
Ingredients
·      500g sprouts washed, trimmed & halved
·      30g butter (or olive oil if preferred)
·      150g pre-cooked & peeled chestnutsÂ
·      Seasoning
Method
1.   Wash the sprouts, drain, trim off the outer leaves, if necessary & cut in half
2.   Fill a large pan with water & bring to the boil. Add the sprouts & blanch for 2 minutesÂ
3.   Drain & spread out on to a clean tea towel to dry offÂ
4.   Melt the butter or olive oil in a low sided pan, over a medium heat
5.   Roughly chop the chestnutsÂ
6.   Add the chopped chestnuts & sprouts to the pan & stir fry for a few minutes until the sprouts start to caramelise & are heated through
7.   Season to taste & enjoy
