
An adaptable recipe that uses the seeds you might have in your cupboard already.Â
Ingredients
1Â Savoy OR January King OR Tundra cabbage, cored and shredded
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion OR leek thinly sliced
2-3 tsp Caraway seeds OR Fennel seeds OR cumin seeds
Method
·      Blanche the cabbage in boiling water for 1-2 mins until tender, then drain.Â
·      Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onion OR leek and cook for 2-3 mins until starting to soften and turn golden.Â
·      Sprinkle over the caraway seeds OR fennel seeds OR cumin seeds and cook for a further 2 mins until fragrant.Â
·      Stir in the cabbage and heat through.
